As we have been talking on my diary, it is not surprising that you (or the communal "we") go through jittery and emotional times AFTER we have dealt with the tougher stuff.
I'm there myself at the mo, so not best qualified to comment other than to say, PANTS isn't it :rotfl:
:grouphug: to both of you.
It is unfortunately a hang-over from our caveman days. When we are under pressure and need to get things done - we become very focussed on the tasks in hand. There's no caveman (or woman) who while pelting along as fast as they can, goes: *sniff* *sniff* "This tiger should really floss a bit more regularly!"
No, there is just the focus on the job in hand.
However, after the event, your brain is programmed to mull over the events and to try to learn lessons to avoid danger happening again.
Sometimes it's a good thing - Lesson no 1: Avoid rustling bushes with furry feet. Lesson no 2: You don't need to outrun a tiger - just your companions...
However in modern times when most "danger" is effectively random, then this "lesson learning" can be harmful. People scour themselves looking for lessons which just aren't there. Some lessons can be learned, but mostly the only revelation is "excrement occurs"...

Have finished my accupuncture for now and will have an assessment in a few weeks and also the same week will be taught the relaxtion method and given a CD to do that at home afterwards...plus a check up at lymphodema clinic that week.
Have been to smoking cessation and am not back there until 30th so no appointments for a fortnight which is lovely.Am looking forward to going away next friday for a few days with SIL.
Have done nearly all the jobs on my list...

MOP KITCHEN FLOOR
MOP FLOORS UPSTAIRS
DO GLASS UPSTAIRS

On the MSE front I used a 5p off petrol voucher today and saved £1.40 on my fuel..
I'll be 4 weeks smoke free tomorrow so am pleased with that and I've been asked to go to a focus group regarding smoking cessation in Oct..all I know is it will be in a hotel and I get a free lunch..lol..I'll get the details in the post.
