Hope you all had a great day, and def a fab idea re chipping in £10, makes it fair for everyone?
Hope DD managed to get JJ to sleep eventually, we had the same problem with her ladyship........ couldn't find her stocking, so she put a pillowcase out, but when Santa went to fill it up...... she'd got her arm in and wrapped round her, so emergency hunt for another pillow case. she had toilettries, dvd, and wack of hello Kitty (thank u argos and M+S for 3 4 2), but she was bit upset as she had asked Father Christmas for club penguin membership. Got round it by saying see if Santa dropped anything..............

She came downstairs and moaned that Santa had taken the glass (dad was told to leave it.... as the other yr she told santa off for taking the glass and threatened to report him to the police........ if his beard wasn't white then it was when she'd finished!!) ....... but left on the plate was the club membership card...... but Santa was very good and had even managed to activate it...... thou took me hr to work out the damm site!!..... so all day every word has been can I play on Club Penguin.

We had a quiet day, just the four of us, and this evening the nice neighbours facing came across and had a few drinks, gd company.

Hope DH goes on ok with the night shifts, dad used to do Taxi's when I was a kid, he always says its the side streets and no-one is ready, you both take care xxxx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Hope you and yours have had a lovely day Taxi - and that JJ eventually fell asleep and stayed that way in order for Santa to do his thing! :D xx

Had an ok day thanks...started off by being sick this morning followed by sleeping until about 2pm...then went to DDs and had a bit of dinner as wasn't hungry...brought starter and dessert home with me.Only managed a couple of hours and came home and slept.
The rads seem to be catching up with me.

JJs face was a picture when we gave him his Wii....the baby had her christmas on thursday as she was going to see her mum.

JJ was put to bed earlier than normal as he was really tired a combination of not sleeping last night, getting up early and excitement.Think his poor mummy was shattered too.

I like the £10 per person great. You got a few days off that maybe why you got sick, your body in slow down mod. The rads will be catching up with you, that normal. A couple of days off will do you the world of good.
The wii is great fun the best game our family have found is toy story about 2 years ago, its great fun.

We set the alarm and tell the girls not to wake or come into us until the alarm go's off, and we come downstairts and have breakfast, then see if Santa has left anything. He seems to leave lots.

I hope yopu and your family had a lovely Chirstmas and wish you and your family a heathly and stress free New Year.

Thanks all..haven't been sick since just pretty tired but they do say that you get tired off rads right up until about 6 weeks after they've finished.

JJ is apparently loving the WII we got him and was playing boxing when I phoned earlier.
It's his birthday on 3rd jan so need to get his birthday pressies ..so will pop into toys r us on one of the days I go to hospital as it's very close to the hospital.

nothing happening here as just chilling out.The ice and snow still hasn't cleared yet...DH had 3 very near misses yesterday.
Another compulsory shift tonight and then he's going on days until it clears except new years eve which is compulsory.
