    thanks for the ideas Pippajo....I've been looking at last minute deals and to be honest they are only about £100 cheaper than next years prices...which is ridiculous.It may be better to book in advance..haven't decided yet ..cruises on last minute deals seem to be quite a bit cheaper though.

    DH still not at work as the snow as turned to very bad ice..so lots of money lost this weekend

    We've lost quite a bit too Taxi, but as ZTD says we have possibly saved ourselves a fortune!

    Taxi, I know you hadn't had a huge amount of snow, but you've still got the deep cold - believe me, getting rads during all of this is a big achievement.
