It's funny when you think what a short time ago it seemed like the whole thing was a disaster Taxi, and now everything does seem to be levelling out into some kind of normality, which is good. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the SS meeting goes well and positively, and also serves to give DD enough of a scare that she sorts herself out.

Kids!!! - they are a lot less trouble when they are tiny and you can tuck them in bed at night and know where they are LOL. It is so worrying when they don't turn up at home when expected and that's just the tip of the iceburg about the things they give us mums to worry about as they grow up!!

Glad everything is working out ok and I'm sure ss will appreciate a close grandparent nearby and give any support needed to keep gs safe and happy at home :) I really feel if they were considering any other course of action they would have santioned it by now as an emergency measure.

Sorry I haven't been about much of late Taxi, glad the hair is beginning to grow back and the end of treatment is in sight.

Well went to DD1s house and awaited SS ...when they hadn't arrived an hour after they were due we phoned the office only to find she was off sick!!!....surely she has a diary with her appointments in so wouldn't it be common courtesy for her or somebody to phone and cancel her appointments...am so angry as got dressed and went out in the cold so that I could support her.

It sure was and I think totally un professional of her and her dept.
I have no objection to her being off sick as !!!! happens but to not inform her clients is ridiculous.
