Thanks DT...not had need to wear the coat yet..lol
Had lovely tea tonight braising steak in mushroom and onion gravy with dumplings,mash and cabbage.
Had a walk around the shops today and managed to get a couple of foody bargains for the week.....I bought 3 boxes of green and blacks biscuits for 50p each in the cheap shop and in another cheap shop I got free range large eggs reduced to 55p for 6 so picked up two of those as those are alright until 4th oct...also in same shop 2 litres of milk is only 89pso got one of those too..
Am hoping to put some more into savings tomorrow and will also be putting some in on thursday as DH pension due thurs.0 -

Oh I wish I could gather up some enthusiasm to use ours. I've actually put it away in the cupboard because it's been sat on the shelf for about two years, new and never used! Was replaced by my new food processor
Sounds like you had a great shop and the red duffle coat sounds all snuggly.

Get the slow cooker back out, there brilliant, I've only made a few things, but bulked up and put them in the freezer, madam has asked can we do the sausage and tomato casserole, she likes it. (slow cooker job). xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Taxi my OH would love the meal you made in yours, unfortunately being married to a vegan means he rarely gets it...I could do a chilli like you said or a Vegan sausage /Tomato casserole like mum2ones. Hhhmmm will have a look.
