Hi Taxi, yes, chilling today sounds good to me too, and posh coffee and people watching sound just as good. So does wrapping up warm, mind you - I left the house at 8am today, for this seminar thingy, and I was **freezing** - I had a little fleece from Milletts on, and I actually put the hood up :) I felt ridiculous, of course, but slightly warmer.

It doesn't matter what you look like, so long as you are warm.

    You can't beat comfort.

Comfort is definitely the key ..thats for sure.

Am proud of myself as I've just done my accounts bringing them back up to date..didn't take long but have been meaning to do them for days....I've even done the cheque and dockets ready for the office tomorrow.

On the money front everything seems to be ticking along nicely and it feels so great not having the stress that we used to have at this time of the month in years gone by.

I'm managing loads of NSDs mainly due to not going out anywhere and we haven't used a CC for months.

So all us not bad over all.

I will be spending money tomorrow on a couple of jumpers, coat, scarve etc and I need some new boots but will look about for them.

Am still putting as much as possible into savings to get rid of the mortgage but obviously this is being done on DHs earnings only as I'm not working at the moment but am pleased with the way it is going...we will be down to owing in the £23ks shortly....

think we may need new brakes on the car this week but have enough in the pot for those...house insurance is due as well as my badge in oct ...always pay insurance in one go as it's very expensive when paying by DD

Z, you sound like my mum! :rotfl: You're right, of course, in spite of that :)

Taxi, I'm so pleased to hear the money is no longer a stress.

    Am back...happy but tired.

I bought a lovely pair of shoes in M+S in the foxglove range for £39.50...they will be comfy and I'll be able to put my inserts in them so will save me getting back ache.
I bought in Evans a red duffle coat £49.50,1 pair black trousers £25,2 PAIRS black trousers for £25 and two jumpers £16 each plus 2 nightdresses £10 THE PAIR....so not too bad really and will do me through the winter.

I also sat and had a nice latte whilst out..it was good to get out and the weather was kind to me sunny but slightly chilly.
