    Hi Taxi

Sorry - been AWOL recently - only just catching up and saw you had a new diary. You're doing really well with you green/organic journey as well as your MFW journey.

Look forward to reading about your journey.

Going soap nuts ... I like it, buffy!

Hmm, not washing hair - I've known a few people who've done it, and I'd never do it, to be honest, judging by what I've seen. But like you, I'm thinking of growing stuff - maybe not cleaning, but certainly my own herbs, say, and salads - even if I only grow say lettuce and peashoots and a few herbs like chives and sage and mint, thats got to save a couple of pounds a week - lettuce is expensive!

I was thinking about the whole not washing my hair at all knowing that after several weeks the natural oils will work and I won't need to wash it again ...

My DH did that once and smelt like an old sheep very quickly! Not recommended.

Thanks all..have just been reading some of the MFW diaries and they were quite inspirational.

Growing your own stuff must save quite a bit as veg is very expensive.

Don't fancy leaving my hair to do it's own thing as I guess it will stink.

A girl did that in my 'A' level French class: I think her hair stopped producing oil after a bit, but it looked rank and certainly didn't clean itself!
