Tesco misprices thread 4 - please only post misprices here

Found a small misprice on the 20 Display Book pockets today (Home & Office range). SEL 56p, price on box 76p, scanned at 76p. R&R no problem.

Still getting lucky with the books - I've been in one store on three different days and bought mispriced books, so they don't always check the other stock when the have to do an R&R - incredible!

Done my first R&Rs today

King Kong on GBA sticker priced £19.94 charged £19.99
Untold Legends PSP x2 sticker priced £19.97 charged £24.99
Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus priced £24.94 charged £29.99

I had checked them on a scanner (along with numerous others) and once paid took them to cust services, I told the lady that I had been overcharged then I waited while she checked th SEL even though the price was on the sticker, then I waited then a lady from games came over and said out of all th games those were the only 2 (Untold legends) with that price on, then I waited while the manager was called and finally I was refunded after 25 uncomfortable minutes.

Not being on to be put off later I was passing a different store and got

Genesis Platinum sticker priced £8.97 charged £12.97

Full R&R given at CS without asking they explained i could have a refund and keep the item and I looked surprised!

saw a chap in Trent Vale store, Stoke getting a Lexmark printer with an out of date yellow SEL, think the sel might have said in the region of £40, but not sure. Well done mate

Had this in three stores I went in today..

Pork chops (with bone) SEL £3.91/Kg Pack price £3.99/Kg

Boneless Beef Rib roasts SEL £6.49 Price on pack £6.89

And this was just in the one..

Healthy eating Mince SEL £1.93 pack price £2.24


Had trouble shutting the door on the freezer!

Been up myself tonight to check out the Scissor Sisters CD!

Stella Artois: 10 x 330ml Bottles SEL 2 for £14 and scan at 2 for £14
BUT Large SEL states 2 for £12 and both labels expire 19/09/06.

Scissor Sisters "Ta-Da" CD (Out today!) has an offer label "Buy any Chart CD or DVD and save £3". Bought SPIDERMAN DVD for £3.93 (Thanks to Feefeegabor) and it did not work!

Spent £43.55 (Including Peaches and Milk) and got back £43.02 as they scanned 1 pack of beer and miltiplied it by 4. This didn't take into account the £2.32 discount so ended up getting more back than I had spent!

Discount also not coming off if bought with DVD "Daddy Daycare" No32 in chart also £3.93 or therebouts. Hope this helps;)

Also found Doritos 200g bags BBQ but refused R&R even though big sign said Doritos 200g/300g 3 for £3 no excluding BBQ flavour anywhere but couldnt be bothered to argue over a few bags of crisp so let it go

I thought I got Vodafone L6 yesterday, expired SEL said on offer @ £69.99 took it to the checkout ( as the self check scanner is broken in my store ) price still £69.99. Had to tell the checkout girl I had forgotten my card at home and not enough cash on me.

However I did manage to get R&R on Rimmel liquid lipcolour expired half price offer charged full price of £4.74

Traditional Rib Roast 2 bone in in a shrink wrapped bag. The pack price showed £7.69 per kilo. The SEL showed £7.07 per kilo. This wasn't a Special Offer, just a muck up with prices. R and R no problem. Totalled £17 - it's expensive. Unfortunately they only had one piece of meat left.

Brother Bear 2 DVD scanned correctly today at £14 odd.

I've noticed that Tesco are getting very particular with taking down the Special Offers, but the odds are against them, anyway, it's more of a challenge especially when I think of all the times they over charged me in the past and I didn't notice. :rotfl:
