:wave:Hi everyone - it's very quiet today on the DC!! Been out at the park with DS and DD3 all day. Took the dog and OH - he is trying to make an effort to do things with me and my kids after a major fight on Monday - but we still haven't talked properly about our future!!! I am exhausted - all this emotional effort is realy taking it's toll!

I am hoping to start decorating DD3's room this week when she's at her dad's but not looking forward to it cos I'm so tired all the time and I am going to have to do it after work!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend :j

    evening all.

Applied for a teaching job at the local FE college (Cookery Lecturer) but with the petrol to Bournemouth and the prospect of marking etc to do I would be no better off financially than I currently am and I'd have to do the extra Diploma year of the teaching qualification from September to be able to teach accredited courses. I thought it was at the Poole site which is about a 2 minute drive but it's 5 miles away so would add 50 miles a week petrol to my budget. The unqualified rate is £20,400 which is just about what I get from my morning/afternoon jobs plus the evening teaching - I really wouldn't be any better off and after a year I'd jump to £22,500 which is better but still nowhere near enough to put me in a position to re-fix my mortgage when the rate starts to rise.

I also need to apply for this other job as a result of the interview the other day.

Just a bit sick of struggling along and having helpful comments such as 'just get yourself a better paid job'.

Erm....... I've been searching daily on about 20 sites all year and funnily enough one hasn't yet come up and the ones that have I haven't got an interview for.....

Would be nice to be in a job where I was out on the beer tonight talking about buying a Man Utd season ticket whilst looking at almost brand new BMW's but I guess I'll leave that to him.......

Well I have a glass in hand Elliemoo.
SRM sorry to hear about your friend - I too have a friend who has been feeling very under the weather recently and this week we have had to have a CT scan as her liver is showing as being enlarged in her blood tests. Not looking forward to the results - OH and I have spend all day at hers in the garden. Am feeling shattered and have work tomorrow. Hope you all have a great weekend.
Claire hope big cheese is a success for you and look forward to receiving mine in due course.
    Loves you all Billiexx

  • Evening,

It's never to early for wine!

BB - chin up, you will find something. Don't let comments your OH says as it will grind you down. And it makes you start to doubt yourself and other things too.

Judi - sending lots of big hugs your way, things will sort themselves out I promise.

    Billie, hello.

I'm munching on a microwave golden syrup sponge pudding and custard.

Just watching the Micheal Moore documentary Sicko, it's amazing how people have been treated just because they can't afford insurance for their healthcare. I'm at the bit where he took some 9/11 workers to Cuba, they got seen in the hospital and got helped, and were invited to a firehouse to be honoured by the crew there. It's weird seeing how we get free healthcare, and other countries do, and how much it means to Americans to be able to use it, and how much it actually helps them. It makes me want to cry.
