Afternoon all. Hope everyone is well and having a good weekend. Just doing houseworky things so nothing exciting. Sometimes I think my house will just burst there is so much rubbish in it. Everything comes in, nothing goes out.
Well looking forward to a couple of glasses of vino and some pizza this evening. Have a good day everyone.0 -
, and the fact that they are so obviously in love and that it isn't ever likely to happen for me now.
C'mon Tenmah. You are not dead yet, infact you're still the right side of 50. I know its difficult but there's still a lot of positives in your life.

Yeah I know Butti - I am just wallowing! Truthfully I don't go anywhere to meet anyone, and am so shy that I just don't attract people in the way some people can, so feel that it is not gonna happen.OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

Don't give up - I haven't. I need to believe it will happen some day, being alone forever is too sad to contemplate

What about doing things you are interested in rather than as a view to meeting people....environmental activities, book clubs, evening classes, that sort of thing. I met my bloke at a Camra do.

Busy clearing the study (ready for painting skirting board and getting carpet laid) - really boring but necessary.
I have a feeling my house is not going to be up to the required standard to get the really good letting agency in to look after it. I think they like posh houses!!! Will approach it and no. 2 in about a week. Don't want to let the house out to come back to a completely trashed abode!!!
Have SO MUCH carp to throw out

Oh joy, the landlord's back. *rolls eyes*
I was enjoying having the house (almost) to myself, now I'm shut in my room after running around like a headless chicken tidying up. I'll have to grab a sandwich before work, there's no time to get something for the microwave, get back, cook and eat it and then go to work. My new mini oven with hotplates on top doesn't arrive 'til some time next week so I'll be living on microwave meals until that gets here. At least Sainsbury's sells them quite cheap. And eventually, he might start asking for rent, which I don't have 'til my next wages come in next month. Why couldn't he have stayed away 'til then?

Kayleigh, I'd be asking for a reduction in rent due to not having a cooker!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

I wish I could, the only thing is that I've got the oven downstairs when he's away, which is most of the month. It's just a bit annoying for the one or two weeks he's back for and I didn't think to prepare in advance. I only bought the mini oven yesterday. And the rent's very good considering I get a whole house (minus one room where the other guy lives but he only comes out for the loo and to use the washing machine) for four weeks out of every six.

Afternoon everyone,
My feet ache after helping out my mum in the charity shop she manages. Had a great laugh and the old ladies that help out were happy to have me there, to tell them what's in and what's not and how much things might cost new!
Needs to cook tea but can't be bothered to move.
