paraphrasing .... even you feed them peanuts.

    How true this is.
My husband recently bought a 2 4 1 voucher for Thorpe Park off ebay for the pricey sum of £3.00 delivered. Although I can appreciate he was using his initiative trying to save money, we had loads of these vouchers lying around the house so he could saved the money!
I realised that people were stupid enough to pay for these vouchers so listed all of the ones that I had in the house for 99p with a cheap postage. Yes I was making peanuts after the fees and paypal but a penny makes a pound!
I then released that all I have all these coke zone points doing nothing. So I listed a 99p 2 4 1 voucher shich could be sent via email. They paid me, I used my coke zone points and send them a voucher to use. If they needed more than one, I stated only pay once, I will send twice.
The listing was headed: 2 for 1. Free ticket voucher Thorpe Park Sent via email
I have received two neutrals from buyers .

    1) not sent thru post but by email ive no printer to print off or have access to 1
    2) Wasnt sure if the product looked genuine. otherwise easy and fast sale.

Why don't these people actually read what they are buying and why don't they contact you if they have a problem. I would of thought the SENT VIA EMAIL in the heading was a big clue! The first one actually paid me twice and I refunded 50 % of the payment. Of course with no acknowledge from them even though I emailed them to let them know why it had been refunded as I don't want to rip people off for something I technically get for free!
I send them an email with the voucher attached plus details of other free 2 4 1 vouchers and how to access them.
I'm fortunately not that bothered about the neutral feeback. The first one is comical. It seems that everything on ebay is becoming so virtual and that people are afraid to speak to others in case they don't like the response they get.
It has made stop listing these. Why bother offering something for peanuts. They can now spend the time or waste more of there money like my hubby did originally.

Buyers seems to playing the "it's damaged, but not so badly I'll SNAD. How about refunding P&P..." angle. I guess once it's worked for one, the word gets around the pubs and clubs PDQ.

Any question from buyers that seems 'odd' should be instant block.

The last resort is to Google StreetView the winner's home address, and take a view if the "type" of person that lives there is really a plausible buyer of your item and cancel if needs be...

Not everyone that lives in posh areas are nice people.

Sorry but Im thinking this is not right on 2 counts ( so how would you rate a block of flats in a central city ?! )

or perhaps you mean the actual people in shot on the street at the time ? - you could make an educated assumption on them by the clothes they were wearing over a year ago ,wether they smoke or not or what newspaper they are carrying or if there is a a higher than national average of Burberry style caps per person, perhaps

    imo

ps. where are these PDQ clubs situated ?
As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question ! ;)
