Can somebody pleeeease help me, before I jump off the nearest high building?!! I am simply trying (in vain) to get one of the utility companies to tell me how much their combi boilers cost!

As other have suggested look for a local Corgi....oops, sorry Gas Safe registered guy. Support your local tadesman.

Ask for a quote for supply and fit - if you do your own boiler research on the mfr websites and find a boiler you like then you could even look at purchasing yourself and just get a quote for fitting and commisioning.

Plenty of Trade outlets will supply to the public.

Either way your likely to have change left over compared to a quote from a main gas supplier.

Edit: Sorry - hadn't seen your most recent post when I replied - doh !
