Sky query

Hi , i just placed an order with sky (i think), had a one off payment to make for extra boxes. My question is does this come out of your bank account straight away or when they install? Reason i ask ,after i put all my card details in, when it came to confirmation page my broadband went down and now i dont know if order went through, tried calling sales but closed till morning, and nothing out of my account as yet,thanks.

I had my account debited within 3 working days for my other Sky box but i did the order over the phone and gave my card details. Call your bank they will tell you if a transaction is in progress

Called them this morning to be told there was nothing on the system so looked like it didnt go through . Placed another order and low and behold i now have 2 debits from account and 2 email confirmations, called them back up and the woman is calling me back to get 1 of the orders cancelled and refunded.
