    regarding insurance etc then yes said car has to be insured mot'd etc as the road traffic act is still in play as the car park is accessable by the public.. ie no barriers or what ever

    if the police pulled you in a private car park the law still stands.. if you have no insurance then the car will still be seized etc..

    I'm sure I would, however I'm looking from a moral rather than legal perspective.
    I don't fit in to the crowd nowadays that run round with the "Its my right" attitude. I would not park there as I believe I have no right to do so, just as i would not park over someone's drive just because there is no law against it. Its called consideration to others rather than "here's a loophole lets go exploit it"

    I agree consideration to and for others is a fine thing to have.

    It is a shame that many supermarkets and retail outlets do not share this, instead using scam artists to intimidate customers and try and steal their money.
