sony w995. Any good.

I have seen this phone at around £149-00 pay as you go. I like what I have seen. With the Hi Fi connection, what can you do? Can you get onto MSN, Skype, internet etc, if so any problems. I don't suppose it has sat nav? Is the 8mp camera any good? So opinions please.

Firstly, "Hi Fi" and "WiFi" are separate things. "Hi Fi" is that thing sitting in the corner of the room with the speakers attached to it that you play CD's on. "WiFi" is the signal from your broadband router around your house that you connect to wirelessly.

The phone does not have WiFi.

Also, unless you want it for the Cybershot camera (which was quite good on my last Sony phone), you are wasting your time; there are so many phones out there that do what the Sony does, but with a slicker interface, better quality and with greater adaptability, as well as doing 101 things the Sony doesn't do!!

Hi Fi lol. So Sorry.

I do want a good camera if possible. It did say on the on the list by the side of the Sony 'wifi'. Are any of the better phones the same or similar price as the Sony? If so what do you recommend? I would prefer a 5mp camera if poss.

I honestly wouldn't buy it, i got one a year ago and was on my 4th within weeks and this one is still faulty just given up complaining. camera is pretty good though, and only thing that worksd is wifi
I might just be very unlucky

The W995 does have Wi-Fi and I was going to get it last year but decided on Samsung Jet instead because I was addicted to touch screen at the time. Once my contract ends next year I am definitely going to switch to PAYG with the W995 - L.S.D. where did you see it for £149?
