Hey Savingsgirl - they're a great bunch on this thread and keep you going when it all gets too much.
TNG - you might be tight with money but you're generous with compliments and us Flybabes think you're great.
Lynzpower - get out in that garden now as we don't know when we'll lose the sun - remember curb appeal
Back from swimming with DS that seems to have helped my back although my legs are now shaky!
Tidied DS bedroom and ensuite about to tackle bedroom and guest room then bathroom brfore going downstairs (avoiding office as major hotspot) also have washing pile from hell.
Flylady zone is Zone 3 Bathroom and one other. She says to do 27 fling boogy and gets rid of hair products etc. Flyboy - now you've got a clean make up bag this means you!!

Curb appeal is estate agency speak for making your house look desirable from the outside, ie if you drive past the house appeals from the curb/ kerb ( im not sure which the speling is!)
My gardens the back one though, so no c/kerb appeal

TNG wrote:Hi PP
yup, in my own very special way, when I was asked to create a user name it took me by surprise:rolleyes: and my brain went blank (quite a common occurrence). All that I could come up with was TNG, which is short for TightNorthernG1t, which I have been accused of being on more than one occasion.
Didn't realise that I then couldn't change it when my brain had re-engaged and I could think of hundreds of oh-so-witty usernames (yeah, right:rolleyes:)
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Which bit of the North, TNG? Can I take it you're from Yorkshire?

Very nearly almost, Pen. Just on the Durham side of the River Tees (by about a mile). Err, I think. Don't know what they've done with the borders since then. Was Cleveland for a while, but I think that's gone now. Haven't been back there in ages.
But you know what they say - A Durham man is just like a Yorkshireman but with all the generosity s-q-u-e-e-z-e-d out;)

just called back in to see what you are all up to. I've done 8 jobs. Would have done more except my sister came round with my nephew. It was useful though as i 'flung' some magazines at her, and gave her my other sisters 21st birthday stuff in case i am not around on Friday. I'm sure i forgot her birthday last year as it was 2 days before my wedding and i really can't remember doing anything, so thought i should be organised.
My sister mainly came round because i rang her in tears cos the moses basket wouldn't go up properly. Partly my fault for doing something wrong, but partly cos the fitted sheets made the mattress curl up. I need some bigger ones, which she will get me from town as i will not be going far again.
Best get on as the afternoon will be completely gone and then i will be cross with myself for not finishing.
See you all later,
Michelle, xx
TNG :rotfl: keep em coming. It makes my day to read some of your posts.0 -
I must watch less Curb Your Enthusiasm and learn to spell/type! Sorry!
Have tidied DS bedroom, bedroom, ensuite, guest room, bathroom, lounge and dining room. Three worst rooms left to do playroom, office and kitchen
You're doing great Lynzpower - will the garden be finished today?
How's everyone's To Do Lists going? I'll be back on list again tomorrow hopefully!
