I'm still here:D
I'm under instructions to take it easy by DH as he is snowed under at work until Wednesday. It's a bit hard to book having a baby into the diary though isn't it.
Lynzpower My advice would be to work from the top down. Apply this as you like, whether you do it on a room by room basis, or a whiole house basis. Then basically, leave yourself jobs for the day that the agent is coming round that you definitely would mess up again between now and then, such as your shower screen.
Well, DH packed up the office. The old desk is now in the loft, probably never to reappear until the kid(s) leave home or we move house. I'd freecycle it, but it was expensive, and we would like to use a big desk again at some stage. He did leave the kitchen an absolute mess though. He did one load of washing up, and then was making me some custard in the microwave, which promptly superboiled all over his hand. Must be hurting him as he took his wedding ring off. But, there is now a massive custard stain on the kitchen carpet. One step forward, two back again.
jobs for Monday 16//10/06
1) [STRIKE]internet banking - check bills have left and DHs wages went in[/STRIKE]
2) [STRIKE]empty drainer[/STRIKE], and then finish washing up from yesterday (I'd been in baking mood, and made banana and walnut loaf in the BM  )
3) sort rest of kitchen out - i think DH will bring the carpet cleaner home from work
4) [STRIKE]post rental DVD back[/STRIKE]
5) clean kitchen door window again - has custard splattered on it
6) wash down the woodwork/radiator (all blue tasks in the babys room)
7) clean the window frame
8) clean the window
9) clean sockets
10) clean the notice boards
11) [STRIKE]set up my moses basket[/STRIKE]
12) clean inside the cupboard
13) move baby clothes in
14) [STRIKE]one load of my washing to do[/STRIKE]
15) do an airer/ironing pile/wardrobe shuffle
16) [STRIKE]deal with post[/STRIKE]dead easy as there wasn't any
17) finish my tigger cross stitch - 2 leaves and the outline to do
18) prepare veggies for tea
19) [STRIKE]visit supermarket[/STRIKE]
20) [STRIKE]take a pile of stuff to charity shop to clear the living room again[/STRIKE]
21) [STRIKE]clear the hot spot that is raging on my coffee table.[/STRIKE]
22) [STRIKE]pay nextdoor avon money[/STRIKE]
A long list but many jobs relate together and i will be well motivated as it is for the baby, and i've got my nesting head back on.
My mum suggested to me that i might want to go to her house and do my nesting. :rotfl: Seems though they have a 5 bedroom house, and 4 bathrooms, and 2 toilets, i can see why she wants me, but she will have to employ the 2 siblings who still live at home. No doubt i will do some up there when i visit after the baby, as i can't stand seeing mess, particularly if the baby was crawling around trying to follow their dogs.
Anyway, best make a start, or i will be here all day.
Hugs to you all. hope you are all well motivated for today,

Morning Flybabes & Flyboy
Lynzpower - good luck with getting place set for estate agent. Like Michelle I recommend top down and perhaps a room at a time. ie: lounge Mon am, bedroom Mon pm, bathroom Tues am etc. We'll try and keep you motivated. Flyboy is good at that!
Carli - glad you're back and better from your injury. I've injured my back from gardening so am FLYing very slowly today!!!
Michelle - you've got lovely jobs today like getting the baby's room ready.
Didn't post Friday as I had so much to do and was overwhelmed by my list. To cope I did 15min stints up and down and got most jobs done. Weekend was spent celebrating OH's birthday with friends so house is now a tip - ho hum! Am just trying to tidy up each room and get back to zero.
Off swimming with DS shortly - extra strong painkillers here I come - update later.

I think the key things to achieve today is the garden & outdoor windows and the spare room and our bedroom
Kitchen lounge & bathroom can wait till tomorrow and weds I reckon? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Bathroom sparkling!
IPFH done (that's Ironing Pile From Hell) - all shirts & trousers done for the week:T (you have NO idea how happy that makes me:D )
Mrs Fly's glasses will be ready in a week   - divorce will be pending, no doubt

Morning Flyboy! Does TNG stand for something, then, I just thought it was a random selection of letters.
Flylady's a bit slow today - I haven't had my zone e-mail (usually get it on Sunday). Anyone know where we are? I've been staying in the kitchen zone, and doing paper patrol.

I have to say - you are all truly an inspiration. I am off to read the flylady siteAuntie Savingsgirl 24/9/06 :j0

Hi PP
yup, in my own very special way, when I was asked to create a user name it took me by surprise:rolleyes: and my brain went blank (quite a common occurrence). All that I could come up with was TNG, which is short for TightNorthernG1t, which I have been accused of being on more than one occasion.
Didn't realise that I then couldn't change it when my brain had re-engaged and I could think of hundreds of oh-so-witty usernames (yeah, right:rolleyes:)
Lynz - my 'virtual' MF cloth is at your disposal, Stardrops and elbow grease also:D
*FlyBoy boards train, promptly falls asleep, misses stop and ends up in Saxmundham*:D
