    Hi Punky

    I now have done

5 shelves out of 6 (everything off, dates checked, shelf cleaned), and anything mouseable now in lidded plastic boxes. I'm part of an OS collective, and buy pulses in bulk from Suma. I met the mouse, clearly enjoying sniffing the peppermint (I firmly believed that the oil was a deterrent)
at 9.00pm yesterday. By 10.00 he was in the humane trap, and released at the bottom of the garden. Although it's clearly not ideal to have a mouse in your pantry, I am fortunately not freaked out by him. He is a very tiny field mouse, and very beautiful.

    To do

Today.....turn thousands of ****ing rosecoco beans into peasant stew for this evening, plus pot of soup. If I have any energy left, then to sort through the vitamins/medicines temporarily dumped in plastic tub.

    Tomorrow

The 6th shelf, plus twiddly bits I have been postponing.

And a To Do list. Do you start every list with Make List? Then you have something to cross off straight away!

Blimey ellas/Donna thats a lot of stuff for one evening - want to prioritise and half it? Punky

I'm going for a new 'carry forward' approach! I'll just do what I can tonight but these are all the jobs that are swimming round in my head, If I list them here, my head stops swimming [insert 'headache' smiley]
    :D

I Really can't imagine that I'll be painting in the hall tonight but these are the 'extras' I really need to fit in around what I normally do. We started decorating weeks ago and did half of it:o . Hopefully if everything is ship shape this evening I can do this tomorrow.
I may try making a list each day for OH....good idea!
  • lol. ive got a big cupboard but i tidied that out a fortnight ago... the thing you could call a pantry had dh's tools in it as we havent got a workshop.and i aint ever goin in there to tidy........

My pantry is behind one of the six doors leading off my ridiculously small kitchen. I reckon whoever put this house together (1930) was stoned, or whatever they used for recreation then.

We have been to Lidl for the first time and got two frozen goose :j . Meant an emergency empty of the freezer. Then with a complete absence of intelligence I am in the middle of a batch of base curry sauce. We either have curry for the next ten meals or I make more room in the freezer......

I just wish it didn't smell so bad when its cooking. We need to have a little tidy before OH returns from work, but otherwise a productive day. Got some more boxes from village shop, so start on the books once the monsters are in bed. I will make myself get rid of some, I will, I will, I will

    or maybe not...:o

Also, whilst reading the cards outside the village shop I spotted one offering a full house clean for £25. Now there is an offer.......

TNG - I have to admit to hating other people cleaning my things. I blame my mother who used to get fed up of my mess and throw everything away every so often....
