    Ha ha I know the feeling punky,my husband often thinks its a great thing to surprise me by not telling me if he comes home early. (I tell him one of these days he will find me in bed with my lover!) It is annoying though as you have to sort of "prepare" yourself before they come home!

    Evening all....

    Not much done here as it's the weekend and I take it predominately easy (and work my bottom off during the week when there's no-one around to get in the way :rotfl: )

    So today :
    • Breakfast for DD and I
    • 3 loads of washing - all currently hanging in the bedrooms drying as it's too windy to put it out on the line, and now it's raining as well.
    • Shopping done - meat from local butcher who is shutting down (didn't reduce his prices though :rolleyes: ), bits from fruit shop and 2 pressies for DD for Xmas...can't say anymore though :shhh:
    This evening I'll start the stew for tomorrow night (always tastes better on day 2 :D so I make it a day early), while making mini-pizzas from some reduced buns from the Co-op and keep an eye on ebay as I've spotted something but again its a case of :shhh::shhh::shhh::naughty::santa2:;)

    Oh, and today I managed to get DD to go through her videos/DVDs and after a bit of persuading ("only every 5th one needs to go, we'll sell them on ebay and you can have the money excluding expenses and we'll double it!" - She could probably sell ice to eskimos she's that good at turning things around to her advantage :rotfl:) so we have 6 videos and 3 DVD to go on ebay :D:D and alot more room in the livingroom. There's only her toys now (she has a train set that she's too big for but she won't part with it just yet :rolleyes: ) as I went through her clothes the other day.

    Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    Morning :)

    Today list of to dos . . .

    Laundry - two loads to hang out IF it stops raining;
    Watch first half of ALL BLACKS vs France game;
    Listen to second half on radio while working;
    Organise kids to do some housework while I'm working;
    Update finances;
    Weekly menu;
    Grocery list;
    Dinner.

    I'm afraid this weeks kitchen zone has been a bit of a disaster for me. I've kept the bench wiped, wiped down cupboard fronts, but that's about it. Never mind. I'm not behind :)
