    morning all:hello:

thanks for the hugs and :D 3somes!:D

Feeling better today, was an awful shock yesterday and the trouble is although things are better than they were nearly 20 years ago when my mum had it, it's still not nice even when they catch it very early. My mum had enough painkillers to open up as a chemist! Still I know my Auntie is very sensible and she'll have been checking regular as clockwork for lumps and bumps so I'll just have to be patient and hope for the best. Will write to her regular though cos a quick note through the post can make such a difference when you're low, much better than an email.

so for today (and probably catch up at weekend)

    House
    d/w, washing, ironing
    Kitchen sides
    5 mins whizz round house
plan meals for next week/make shopping lists
    empty bins
    bottle bank
clean car (if I ever get it back off OH)
sort out handbag & house accounts
set up tescos order for next week

    Work
    Post in/out
pay anyone who's due a cheque
    sort desk
    general filing
    sales invoices

    Kitchen
    Sort out drawers
    clean freezer
    clean pan rack
    shelves
    clean windows and doors
    sort out corner cupboard

    Extra
check water bills & council tax
    School fund accounts
    Chocolate order for school
ring doctors & arrange for annual checkup that I should have sorted months ago - I'm going to be brave here they usually send a letter for a general clinic as a cover for the fact I need a tetnus booster (needle phobia!) but enough is enough I'm a big girl now and should be looking after myself so to the doctors I must go!

I did date night with hubby last night.. then promptly did a runner to the bathroom to upchuck my hard drank bacardi's and packet of mini cheddars.. he took it quite personally.. God knows what is wrong with me.. or him.. he never made me puke before!! lol

I did my cutlery thingy the other day.. one of the little lovelies spilled a bottle of orange squash in the drawer so my cutlery was swimming!!

I get a second day off... Hint *my bath needs scrubbing!!* loo is clean though judging by my close encounter with the bowl! .. I did wake up half an hour later with my face on the seat though! .. MUST have been the lemonade!!
for Kscour .. (doesn't that look like a group *sexual practice* it is only a hug I assure you!)

Just hover your mouse over that smilie and see what it's actually called

Kscour - most important thing on your list is annual checkup IMHO and don't forget letter to Auntie ;)

  • afternoon folks.

it's a struggle today. Baby is being clingy, although not as bad as he was yesterday afternoon/evening. Everytime he falls asleep and i try to put him down he wakes up again, and the crying doesn't stop. It's wind, but i'm struggling to shift it.

    Today i have:
    • written 6 thank you cards - quite a few more to do.
    • dealt with post - loads today for some strange reason
    • made bed
    • swished bathroom
    • put load in WM - still need to add powder and switch on though.
    • fed cats
    • managed to eat/drink and go to loo, which is better than yesterday when i ended up waiting till DH got in.

Thankfully i decluttered and cleaned my cutlery drawer last month when i was nesting. I can't believe it was really a month ago though.

    Still to do:
    • peel veg for tea
    • try to write some more thank you cards
    • bring in bins - will wait till rain stops, as i promised next door we'd do theirs too as they are away
    • get WM on

didn't manage the BM last night so i suppose i should do that too.

DH now has to work tomorrow so i guess i'll have to write a list of what to do then to be most efficient.

    kscour
    - big hugs to you. I agree that your health check and letter are the most important things on your list. Fingers crossed that it was an early discovery and she makes a full recovery. One of flyladies reminders is a monthly one to check yourself for lumps. I often delete without thinking, but should add this on my list.

You are all doing so well. I can't wait till i get some sort of routine back.

    Michelle, xx
