Evening all. Total failure today. With both mother and OH in the house I couldn't get anything done. They just kept interfering and making loads more mess! I just hid in DS's playroom with him and played! Hopefully OH will go back to work tomorrow and mother will go home. Builders also finish the foundation and brick work of conservatory tommorrow so I may also get my drive/garden back. Please don't get the impression I'm a control freak of or anything
I did manage to contact someone about mending the DW £50 callout and first 15 mins  Then it's £5 for every 15 mins. Wish I got paid £5 for every 15 mins I FLY - I'd make a fortunePunky x0 -
Forgot to say - well done Lynz - getting a job at the moment is far more important than keeping the flat clean and tidy. Make sure you reward yourself tonight. Punky xPunky x0

PMSL... you are joking!!
I am the least patient most intolerant nagging old hag ever! On a good day I have PMT.. on a bad day I am WWIII on my own! The children just do as they are asked or face the consequences.. usually housework!
I am consistant though.. I am mean all the time!!!I am just imagining the size of the ironing and washing piles in pigpens house. No wonder you have all the wonders of modern technology. How on earth did people do it before this?
The washing pile is down to one basket today.. just 2 loads left and I will be able to change the bed sheets!
The I*R*O*N*I*N*G pile doesn't exist that is a very very rude word and not to be used in the same sentence as my name! The I*R*O*N comes out to press seams on the garments I am sewing!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Oh bad bad day today!
Was bogged down in office but I was getting on with stuff and it was going to be one of those days when you felt like you hadn't managed much but you had cleared up a lot of "left to do stuff" if you know what I mean. Then my mum rang and told me my Auntie in US had breast cancer - and that was that really. She's a really lovely person, obviously I've only met her a handful of times with her living so far away, but I've always felt like she's cared about me and now I've got to sit and wait for news to find out how bad it is. Her cousin (& my dad's) died after breast cancer - came back three times. That's scary! My mum had breast cancer when I was in my teens one or two [STRIKE]months[/STRIKE]years ago but it was caught early and a bit of surgery and all was more or less sorted. I just wish I could catch a plane and be with her now, no actually I wish she was over her and I could spend time with her and be there for her. Been a weepy old wreck today, daft really cos I'm not normally like that.
Tears & alcohol tonight - tomorrow tidying up, sotrting out and a letter to Auntie. Every week from now on a letter to Auntie - will add to my list0
