Oops - forgot to say what I've done today...

Copious amounts of washing up. DW is definately broken - gonna have to call in a man...
Loads of tea made for builders. They also like the homemade cake! ;)
All washing done - hooray! :j Hang on.. that's OH coming through the door with a suitcase of washing from his trip- NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Lots of ironing while watching X-Men
    Made beds
Tidied rooms - except office of course - might tidy office tomorrow although that does put me dangerously close to the computer and may mean I spend to much time on MSE ;):D

Pigpen - if you only tick one thing off your list you've done some good and at least your DW works.

Lynz - if you need a reference I think you're extremely compentent! And motivational, friendly, hardworking, diligent, clean & tidy and thats for starters just from your posts and flat photos. That PA job you were talking about sounds great. What about the charity job?

Aww cheers punky- dont suppose you wanna write my form for me do you ;) Ill pay you ( in bread- literally!)

I quite like the idea of the PA job. I just really want to do it. The sad fact is that money wise its not the best. I am used to a salary and need really to be perm somewhere so that in a couple of years we can think about starting a family  PLus OH is temping still, he might be going onto a contract, but its all a bit well precarious.

Charity job one havent come back to me- damnit.

the thing is if I get this job with my current employer at least a) its stable, b) its permanent c) ill get time off etc for my treatment later. d) its well paid.

Looks like the boring stuffy reliable job gets my application. BUT DEAR HEAVENS the application just makes me want to cut my own head off.

    For example

"Service Focus is all about taking time to understand the needs of our customers and shaping what we deliver in line with these needs, rather than delivering what we assume to be right. Service Focus is also about ensuring that equitable services are provided to all members of the diverse community at large."

    zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

theres 20 pages of this I need to work through

and you wonder why im slacking?!?!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Punky, you can bring your pots here if you wish!.. I have homemade cake and bickies! :D

My kitchen.. well half of it looks nice.. one of the boys has pulled one of the doors off the larder unit so hubby will have a blue fit when he gets in!! It will, of course, all be my fault as usual. Said boy is on tidying duty now as punishment!! I love being an evil mum.. apparently 'real' mums who love their children don't make them tidy up, they just slap them as punishment.. "ah, "says I "but real boys who love their mums don't break kitchen units!!" Cue screaming and wailing!!

Dear heavens! I'm of the plain english brigade and have spent my entire working career in Communications/Marketing/PR trying to encourage people to use plain and simple english and not bamboozle with management speak, etc. Don't lose heart. I'm a strong believer in fate and the right opportunity will come along for you and OH plus you're doing all the right things to facilitate change and you have a wonderful future to look forward to.

My advice - get a LARGE glass of wine and attempt a photocopied version of the application form first. Better still just have the wine and start the form fresh in the morning. Thinking of you.
