Nice to put a face to the name TNG:D - not too sure about your choice of tights though!
I always wondered what he was doing in that shot & now we know - conducting a mass sing-a-long of fly me to the moon!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Lynz - will check Quidco, thanks. My OH can get BnQ vouchers from work at 10% off which may come in useful as well. I will have a quick look on the Laura Ashley website and get back to you on your kind offer. Determined to not buy anything till we have exchanged though, no news on survey outcome yet.....

Pondsaver - I understand the idea of giving books away, but four years working in a second hand book shop says I just can't do it. I cheerfully freecycle everything else (including things we need and use) but books remain a problem. Will force myself to do it. I did make a pile for Amazon once but put them all back...

TNG/Punky - my hangover has mostly cleared up. I find that as I get older (mid 30s ) they get worse, and it only takes three stripes now. Hope you are both feeling better.

Butcher had sold out of rib (at 11am!).

  • Having signed on as a newbie the other day I thought I had better show my face again. Have had a busy few days with the boys so not much done in the way of flying. Have just spent an hour sorting out the kitchen though since DH wants to make a start decorating the kitchen tommorow - eeek! Since the boys were born we have been putting off finishing the kitchen and if I had my way we still would but DH is determined.
On the positive side I won't be putting the clutter back into the kitchen and it will be much nicer with the walls painted and finished, and more of a family space. Guess I just don't like upheaval LOL!

little bean I know what you mean about the upheaval. EWeve decorated every room recently and there is lot of upheaval. But its so worth it in the end. Lovely to have a kitchen clean & newly painted. Makes it easier to fly rounds too I think :)

Have you got a SC? If you put that on in the morning with a meal in it, you wont need to deal with trying to make a nice meal when theres traces of paint all over the inside of your sink  which REALLY did my head in whne we were decorating :)
