    Ooh Punky u went to the fat duck :) WOW I want to take hubby there for his birthday. Boys watched Heston's prog last night as we had recorded it for them.
    got rid of a box of stuff by freecycling, but still have not quite got to grips with the laundry monster, since being on honeymoon then ill, and having boys who wee wee wee...
    BUT I found out at the docs on Monday that ds1 has protein in his wee so something isn't working right down there, at least theres a reason! And little DS doesn't wee all the time. The reward chart worked - for the first night.
    Off to Pontins (yes really :eek:) hubby is in a brass band and they r in a contest, so I will have to be ready to fly through the laundry straightaway when we get back. ANyone got any handy unpacking hints LOL And also dd will be leaving her muddy clothes here as she is doing cross country today after school in the park.
    I am getting back to my mini flip chart on Monday, I have a room or a pair of rooms a day, and flip it over to the next day when I am done. If I had one room a day I would take 2 weeks to get through to the start again :eek: I have a 'wild card' which means I can choose, so this time round it will be painting over the mural on ds2's bedroom wall :rolleyes:
    Last sunday I positively flew through the garden, which I had neglected, but now it's mainly weed free and covered in chicken poo :) I also had a bonfire a couple of nights ago to get rid of some rubbish which was neither recyclable, freecyclable or binnable! Getting there - hang on in there everyone!

  • Thanks lynzpower. I don't have an SC yet but am planning to get one before I go back to work in the new year. I do have a couple of batches of chilli in the freezer though and a lovely bottle of red to reward ourselves!
    Can you recommend a good SC? I heard that oval ones are better as they are more versatile?

    I was given our SC, dunno seems OK??

    Theres only 2 of us and TBH I only do like 2 meals in it, sooo... Im not the best person to ask am I! But a chili from the freezer sounds great idea.

    sararsaver! crikey girl- you are flying :T Personally my unpacking always goes like - take bags as soon as getting in therough door. Empty contents into WM wash & hang. I never sort & never iron! im sure theres a more organised way of doing it though!
    :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
    Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
    So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:

    My clothes were put away and I was feeling a bit grumpy so I sat in my WIR and decluttered, sorted Chrissy stuff and had a general tidy.

    Still to do tomorrow:

    Those darn shoes and junk in the entry
    and that blimmin dining room wall to wipe!!

    Also . . .
    About four loads of laundry to MILs - (one load washed, three to go);
    Organise kids to dust, vacuum, clean main bathroom and - oh, something else (four kids :D)
    Ironing;
    Go to bed early so I can get up and watch the rugby on Monday morning (4.30am :eek: )

    Lyn - you don't know Becks?? **sigh** I could watch him all day.

    Sarahsaver - have you started the mural yet? I'd love to see the finished product.

    PiixxySu - We are meant to have our overseas Chrissy parcels posted by the 13th of November. Cards might be a little bit later, but I'm not sure. So I guess if you have to send things overseas, then you'd better get moving too LOL
