Can an NRP receive tax credits?

I applied about 18 months ago and my ex is having to squirm uncomfortably in Germany right now and answer to the child support authorities there (I receive info via the courts here), I'm hopeful they'll succeed in getting an order placed on him to support his child here, in the UK.
I go by the advice of the Perth magistrates court solicitor and our lawyer in Perth who worked with Australian CSA officials. As I have compelling evidence proving the PWC is a single mum of her own choosing, and in Perth, this is interpreted as the PWC's circumstances as a single parent is self-inflicted. This does not attract a maintenance liability on the other parent.Denny's Franchisee of the year (Best Restaurant) 1989-1991.0 -

We have tried for many years and at one time, actually made positive progress and a written apology for their error.
I think the CSA clammed up and withdraw its promise to correct the assessment when the Australian authorities contacted DWP for my employment and tax references and may have told them we intended to emigrate. I think the CSA is now trying to grab what it can as quickly as possible and make excuses for not clearing the arrears with an assessment correction.Denny's Franchisee of the year (Best Restaurant) 1989-1991.0 -

If you are on CS1 then it does count rent and council tax! It may still end up being 30%, but unless you show the details, I can't advise which I am happy to do. If it is wrong, then I can tell you!0 -
If the calculation is wrong then there is no time limit on getting it corrected.0

Now your talking!
What exactly to I have to say to the CSA? This is new ground for me because the CSA has been saying I have to do it within 30 days or 13 months. Are you saying this is not true?
This is a vey good lead.
I have sent you a PM with requested info.Denny's Franchisee of the year (Best Restaurant) 1989-1991.0 -
Oh I can see the above replies were posts 8 and 9, yet you were still talking about tax credits in post 29 & 34 which is why I thought you hadn't quiet grasped the concept of tax credits.
My enquiry is not about having "grasped" anything.
Two or more posters on this forum have confirmed I cannot claim tax credits for my children and that is the final position. However, this forum and the subject of NRPs and tax credits are not the sole source and subject of my enquiries and they continue elsewhere, some with some very good debate.Denny's Franchisee of the year (Best Restaurant) 1989-1991.0 -

loopy girl shows what many bitter RP are like in my opinion.
Well your opinion is wrong. Very wrong.
You want to talk about bitter? Jesus, the bitterness that spews out your posts is scary...that's when I can read them properly of course.
You know nothing about me or my situation and my advice would be to stop listening to the whisperings in your ear via PM from another poster.0 -

And you don't think it's the Father's responsibility to contribute to their child's upbringing? Just about sums you up then really

i believe you couldnt of picked a better forum name0 -
Enough please. This enquiry is about tax credits. Nothing to do with parental responsibilities.
I accept some contributors are sensitive when an NRP seeks help and automatically assume he is looking to exclude himself from liability.
Making inflammatory "Jeezo" posts really does not help matters, I ask we keep to the facts, lets not have personal feelings against NRP's cloud the debate.Denny's Franchisee of the year (Best Restaurant) 1989-1991.0
