Orange upgrade after 3 months...

I am going to use 3minutemobiles to overcome my bad credit rating (hopefully) to get a contract with Orange.

I have spoken to a helpful person on here who has used them and it seems right for me. I know I'll be declined for a full contract and therefor might get a Sim Only deal (which the way I want this to pan out would be a good thing)

After three months of successfull payents I can upgrade to a full contract. Does anyone know if you can upgrade to an iPhone in this sort of situation? Or would it be best to buy an iPhone and carry on with the sim only?

Thanks! :)

i used intek commuincations to get me a contract a few years ago with a bad default and I got a full contract and I had it year and added another one the only thing was I didnt get much handset choice and It was dolphin 25 only but I suspect that might of been intek. I have had up to 3 with orange if you pay your bills on time and don't get new dramatic adverse data (Ie one late payment wont upset them) they are veyr keen to look after you. I have iphone 4 now which they did me a special deal on.

With iphones the contracts and dept are different as they have there own tariffs. You need a iphone to use an iphone on the go as the data allowance and charges on a standard tariff may not be enough for an active iphone user.

Thanks for the advice! I think I'll go for it through 3minutemobiles...
