Just made myself laugh outloud by grouting the shower in my bra and knickers - I forgot the window cleaner was due today! :rotfl::rotfl:Thankfully I'd finished by the time he got here!
My first foray into the world of DIY - looks ok so far - have to see what its like when its dry.
That could have been very DFW rachel, had he of come a little earlier he might have given a discount

B*gger - why didn't I think of that - he's just been back for the money too!
Been very productive today - all of the list done and more!
Am now knackered - going to have my chilli and a big glug of wine.;)
Tiles look ok - not as good as a professional tiler but much better than they were - it took me longer to remove the "excess" (as it says on the grout) than it did to do the grouting!
Had a sort out of a pile in the conservatory too and found all my wedding stuff - spent half an hour looking at the photos and the signing book thing - it was a fab day! Will give OH a big cwch (Welsh cuddle) when he eventually gets home - he's on a stag night tomorrow so will probably be in my bad books soon!0 -
Rachel you inspired me to clean my shower! Not in my undies I hasten to add but it has been known in the past. It's just much better than getting all your clothes wet! LOL
Today I have put my hot water on for the first time in days (about 4 I think) have finally got enough washing up for one bowl of hot water! LOL One of the benefits of being on my own now me thinks
I have also put on my second load of HC, which is the duvet cover and sheet from my bed and the sheet from spare bed - had to wash my pillow cases yesterday as I didn't have enough whites for a load - another benefit me thinks? Lack of washing? Oh not to mention lack of ironing!
Will now sit and pay some bills online just to make myself feel extra DFW.
Hope you've all had a lovely day!
JxNothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -

Evening everyone
It's been such a nice day today so I'm feeling really happy :j ... sunshine is great isn't it?!!
Went shopping today and picked up a couple of bargains for christmas/birthdays AND managed to resist temptation and didn't spend ANYTHING on myself which is a miracle... so am really pleased
Also picked up a breadmaker from my mum in law as she doesn't use hers so made my first loaf earlier on - it looks ace but haven't tried it yet. Too full from tea!!
So... my list for today: -- hung out three loads of washing to dry
- made hm bread

- drove carefully to shops and back
- bought a couple of tubs for 69p each for food in freezer (thought that wasn't too bad)
- didn't buy anything for myself when out shopping

Have a great night everyone
