Thanks everyone for the tips, it sounds like some of you have got it down to a fine art. I have been laying out my clothes (even knickers and socks) the night b4 and it does make a difference.

Pink Lady, thanks for the info about the hair, I might go for a consultation and few quotes and see what I think. With regards to the eyelash extensions im def goin to look into that. My eyelashes are pratically black anyway, but some exetnsions might give some more oomph! Do they itch and poke you in the eye like the ones you get for a night out?
  • I was in a very expensive restaurant recently and a stunning older lady took out a compact and reapplied powder and lipstick at the table. We were all mesmerized but I don' think anybody thought she was skanky for doing it. Just saying. :p

    Loving all the tips! :)

I didn't really feel anything while they were being put on, or when wearing them. They can cut them back so the length suits your eye/face shape and you have a choice of colors. It took about an hour but totally worth it as they look so cool and you don't have to do anything to them. They girl did say you can still add more mascara if you really want to, but I failed to see the point. I had the longest ones put on, but then scaled it back a bit as they are full glam! The medium length looks like maximized mascara and the short ones just fill out your own lashes.

    I will just say:
They tape down your bottom lashes so they don't get in the way and this was the part that kinda bugged me a bit, only cause my eyes water-up easily so it looked like I was in pain, when I wasn't lol. Seriously my eyes were streaming! Might be best to bring a tissue or two to be on the safe side ;)
Call a few places up as if they have just started up they normally offer half-price discount (only reason I went for it :D then hubby paid for the rest as he loved them on me hee hee). Some fallout when your real ones do, but if you have like more than say 5 go in a day, you can go back and have then replaced free.
    Good luck!

haha thats funny my eyes always water like mad if someone else puts make up on me or even in the opticians! I'll probably look like im crying!

I looked up beauticians offering the service and theres a mobile one who comes to your house and does it for £50. Do you think thats reasonable? I looked at some salons and they were charging about £70!!

Hi the good lady, as I have been told to call her had semi permanent makeup, we (me again and again!!) did a lot of research and had a lady called Heidi Worman carry this out, just google her. She has worked with top famous people.

Her eyebrows were filled in really nice so it wakeup up and sort of go... we went to see a few other people but this lady did some really good shapes, a lot better than the consultation we had in London Harley St.

A lot of girls have eyeliner, and that looks really nice, here is the old thread. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/35931923#Comment_35931923

Its the best money we have spent as she goes out in the sun a lot and is a swimmer, so it save a fair bit of time, shape wise a lot of her friends are jealous!.
