can someone please help me set up the currency bit of my phone

sorry, what i meant was how can i set up the currency app so that i can do conversions while on holiday, i think i have done then when i go to check its correct by looking up what the conversion should say on a web page it always says the wrong amount, where am i going wrong please?

thanks, its an 8gb iphone and the app i was asking about is just the standard currency touch one on first page of apps available

I don't have a standard currency app on my iPod Touch!!

The app I use for currency conversions is called XE Currency.

This actually updates itself with the latest exchange rates on any currencies you have it set to.

It's very easy to use.

Just spoken to my neighbour who has an iPhone. He doesn't have a currency app on his!!!

You need to give a name.

thats weird, its definitely there, all i can think is that one of the kids may have put it on. it looks like a circle with one arrow going one way in white and another in blue then it has dollar sign euro sign and something else i cant see without my glasses. thanks for trying to help. will try and hunt out info on the on line manual thanks again

Just use the inbuilt calculator to do the conversion.

am going to appear really thick now, p romise am not normally. but i have seen people doing it like you said on planes etc and always wondered how it was done?
