TV stopped working after a month of use and best buy won't replace it

:mad:I brought a 42 inch tv from best buy in may 2010 and i have had in up for less than a month. A engineer came out yesterday and replaced a part which didn't make any difference to the tv. Now LG is saying I need to have the main headboard replaced. However, i believe that i should recieve a new tv. I spend nearly 500pound on this tv aswell as another 950 on two other tv's. Can anyone help as in what I can do now.

Thank you

I think as you have accepted a repair you cannot now say you reject it under SOGA and want your money back as it is not fit for purpose

I assume the replacement parts will be supplied & fitted free?

Enforce SOGA. Its automatically deemed to be a manufacturing fault for the first 6 months and you're entitled to a replacement. Your contract is with Best Buy, not LG and it is them who you need to get to resolve it. If they don't, take them to small claims court.
