  • Hi there

Sorry to hear you have had more bleeding, it must be very hard with 4 little ones to look after, I was ill most of the weekend with a bad headache, started on Friday morning when I woke up and continued until I went to the docs on Monday, even strongest painkillers bought over the counter didn't get rid of it. Luckily it was a weekend when OH was not working so I spent most of Saturday in bed. Doc prescribed stronger painkillers which have done wonders and got rid of it, my bp was high when the doc took it and it was high the last time I had it done (can't remember when that was) I have to go back at 8.20am tomorrow morning to have it done again and she'll see what to do then as she wasn't sure if the high bp was due to the pain of the headache.

I do find it difficult sometimes with my 3 being so young as they just don't understand when I say I'm not feeling well and I need them to be good/behave.

Hope you are able to get some rest and hope you don't get any more bleeding.

I've already started buying a few bits for the girls for Xmas, just don't know what big present to buy as they just don't look after things (get that from their dad I think), will see nearer the time what they ask for.

Do you keep an eye on the Grabbit Now board as there are some great posts to buy things cheap(er).

  • Morning mummy, sending you big hugs, try and take things easy and rest when you can, i know its not easy with the little ones, but only do what you need to do, if the housework doesn't get done than so be it, you and your baby are much more important.
  • Hi been very naughty and not been on here for a while!! Opps. So tired all the time im not getting as much time in the evenings to come and post etc.
Thanks for your posts tmd and penny. Been trying to be good and rest as much as possible but its not easy with 4....but not doing things like hoovering with the big hoover and pushing the shopping trolley (even though i bet my dubble buggy is just as heavy lol)
Heard the babies heartbeat last night on the doppler - so lovely to have that little reasurance that baby is still growing inside :) I have a scan next fri the 15th. DDs friend asked me today if i had a baby in my belly? and when i said no she said well why have you got a big belly!! So i think others might be thinking it if a 6yr old has realised...opps....Been trying to wear baggy or things that hide it but its just not working lol.
DFW wise we have been good recently - but i think this mth is going to be tight!! Really need to sell somemore bits to help with christmas etc.

  • I know its not long till christmas is it!!!! Arrrrrrrr. Soooo expensive.... We brought a couple more presents yesterday got to big girls 2 each from the tesco half price sale and also got one for dd3. My DH always wants to get big and wow presents and im trying to get it around his head that we need to get good deals and money off so that we can get the girls a fair few presents and also that we cant get so many big things as we need to think of storage for them.... Will see if i can keep his head around it.
Today is a NSD and got 20p on scratchy.
We have a funeral to go to tomorrow and its DH's nan so him and his bro are getting some flowers together - which will eat into our budget and also need some money for the wake which i havent really aounted for - so will have to take some from other budgets and see if i can work it....Will have to as cant not go etc. Tried on what i was going to wear last night and i look about 5mths gone in it so going to have to try find something else tonight.

I am sorry to hear about your OH's nan, it was a year ago on Mon since i lost mine x
  • Thank you both. Smarties sorry about your nan :( Horrible isnt it I sure i remember you posting about it and cant believe its been a year!
DH done my dads girlfriends flooring at her house last week and my dad came round today and refused for him to not take a little bit of money (even though DH said no its family etc etc!) - so it will cover tomorrow for us :):) So atleast its one thing not to worry about :)
Went through loads of clothes today that i had shoved in the cuboard and found a few bits that i can reuse for dds but they still need a few bits and ds needs lots!! Found some babygrows in the right size but DH isnt happy with him wearing pink :p:D Will list a few bits to sell and use money from that to buy them bits they really need...
