Standing Order is the ONLY way to pay them that is free and you are in complete control of , sod postal orders , they cost money , and sod direct debit as well , you will be covered under the DD guarantee but do you need the hassle if they make a `mistake`...0

Direct Debits are free, unlike Postal Orders, and the postage.
You will be protected under the DD guarantee.
Please never use a direct debit to pay a creditor, as this allows them to change the amount they take at will and there is no comeback if they have written to advise you of the change. I had one do this, sending the letter dated December 30 with a charge date of January 4 and a 3 day Bank Holiday weekend in between. There was no way to even contact them of the bank when I got the letter.
You need to set up standing orders for payment. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
