I opened a new ISA for this year (after April 6th) with A&L with new funds. Can I now open a Nationwide e-ISA and transfer the funds I currently have in a Nationwide instant cash ISA into it?

Yes, even if you have opened a new Cash ISA with this year's subscription, you can open another one into which you can transfer your previous years' subscriptions (as long as the terms and conditions of the ISA you're transferring from and to permit you to do so).0
