s/e w995 charging fault

i returned my 6 month w995 to sony as it was`nt charging properly,they say it is damaged internally at the point the charger plugs in and would not repair it, i fail to see how this could be my doing as all i do is plug charger in,any help on where i stand as i still have 12 months left on a u/s phone:mad::mad:

    do a software upgrade from the sony website. it was a common glitch with the software.

    Seems to me that Sony Ericsson haven't covered it under the warranty as the charging port could be damaged interally?

    OP, take the phone to a CPW store with your proof of purchase. It needs to have your name and address on it, date of purchase and IMEI number of the phone on it. They will send it off to their engineers for you for a second opinion. If they find repairable damage, they will offer to repair it for a charge, they may deem it to be beyond economical repair in which case, explore any insurance options you have and claim for accidental damage.
