Private Ticket When The Owner Wasn't Driving

I got a private ticket in my girlfriend’s car on my works car park. I do have a permit and was parked in the correct spot but as we had swapped cars that day I didn't have the permit on me.
They said to appeal the ticket but as that meant paying first and then appealing I didn't fancy my chances so I decided to ignore it.
My problem is it's my girlfriend who is getting the letters so I wanted to double check I'm doing the right thing.
We have had about 4 letters and the last one was "FINAL NOTICE NOTIFICATION OF COURT PROCEEDINGS"
Should I carry on just ignoring the letters or should I send them the "I wasn't driving" letter from the templates section?

Yes ignore, unless (and this is a very remote possibility) you get legitimate papers from a county court. These will be stamped (i.e. with an embossed seal), and those are the only ones that you should not ignore. Private parking companies have been known to send out fake court papers, but they are easily spotted. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

If you read the letters carefully, they invariably use the words 'may', 'might', 'could', 'possible' but never 'will'.
They are designed to scare/intimidate you into paying. You are perfectly safe to carry on ignoring.
Who is the PPC?0 -
If you are on the 4th letter thats normally the end of the chain unless you have contacted them, sit tight and dont tell em ya name.....pike !

I'll keep an eye out for those. Can you contact the county court to check they are real?0 -
