Image138.jpg:) Don't have much luck with my toms...(!)...have some outside (& its been wet/humid here in yorkshire...probably ideal for blight)...see the bases...all blackish-leaves withering with spots & yellow patches...SO far 2 toms in greenhouse are ok (I also have an aubergine in g/house which I gather is suseptable as well to blight?!)..Question is....shall i bin them or not? Should i also chuck out greenhouse ones? In all honesty the flowers on them are few & far between..much more success with my chillis & peppers! Is it blight? Shall I bin em?? Apologies for crap quality(!).

I'm not sure from the photo but could be I just sprayed our outdoor crop with bordeaux mix.Your greenhouse toms should be ok just keep an eye on them,we did get blight once in our greenhouse tho'.
We've grown tomatoes for 30 years and only lost them to blight 3 times but the way the weather's changing maybe our lucks running out.I 've just noticed your in Yorkshire you lucky thing :)I was born there and long to hear the accent again.

Thanks macma.....i'm an 'adopted' yorkshireman-from east anglia originally! So you don't think the blight (if it is blight) will spread to greehouse-affected plants are 2 metres away...

Yes I think that it looks like blight. I would get rid of them asap but if your greenhouse ones seem to be healthy wait and see. Good luck they may be OK

If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

It may be blight, take all affected bits off now and bin them, then move the plants (why haven't you done this already) well away from the greenhouse toms. Watch and see what happens. If they have a load of new horrible bits on them tomorrow then yes it is blight (probably) so get rid of them.

But a better photo would be good.

Lotus eater....sorry-am a novice to this so didn't know it was blight...hence the post! Infected bits are bottom of plant so no point cutting it back...might as well bin them & keep an eye on greenhouse ones.

Cant really see whether this is blight or not. No sign of problem on stems, only lower leaves so might just be overwatering/+ maybe botrytis? Its only the lower leaves and (tho I'm no expert!) I would expect blight to affect plant more widely.

Still, separate out from other toms/potatoes and if it spreads, get rid soonest
