moving house taking sky+

Hi, hope one of you clever people out there can help me, we're moving at the weekend and have quite a few programmes recorded on our sky+ it might seem a daft question to some, but will we lose the recordings when the system is disconnected ? thankyou.

I read on another thread that you lose sky+ functions if your subscription ends, so no viewing recorded content either. Are you just doing a move (and keeping account), or are you canceling account too?0
