Just in case anyone's interested:
Humax Foxsat HDR Freesat 320gb HDD Recorder £199.99 @ Play

I had a similar issue myself.
Moving for my old house where I had Sky, to my new place (no Sky).
I bought a Humax PVR and have never looked back, it has more than paid for itself over 3 years (£190).
I am upgrading to HDTV and when the prices drop of their new HD-FOX T2, I will look at buying that as I have no sky dish.
But as in previous threads, if I had a sky dish, I would go for their FOXSAT HDR.

Having owned a Humax PVR, I can say that the equipment is very reliable and the customer service is very good.
I registered my product and I get information on updates, issues and any deals they have on Humax products.
