According to research from estate agency Your Move, the housing market is set to surge once the world says goodbye to the greatest show on earth.
In fact, the estate agency says that according to official Government figures the number of transactions in the month following the last seven World Cups has risen by an average of 8% compared to the month of the tournament.

When's the cup being paraded through London?
I think Your Move have confused correlation and causation. Easy done.0 -
Certainly no feel good factor 'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

They will surge again. There will be 25-30% increases in the space of a year just as there were in 1973, 1978, 1988, 2002. My guess is that it won't be for another 2-3 years though.0
