    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi, I get eczema which I think is similar to psorias. I use Simple shampoo, I have used Tgel in the past and then was told it strips hair colour so it put me off a bit. I use the Body Shop aloe vera moisturiser and cleanse with Simple wipes or a Clinique facial cleanser. In the bath/shower I use Original Source Tea Tree shower gel. I used to use the E45 wash and bath oil but the tea tree seems to work OK and makes me feel cleaner and its cheaper. I do moisturise my body with E45 cream, get a big tub of that on prescription.

Don't think anyone else can or indeed should advise as every one is different and there are a lot of variables to consider. You really need your doctor to tell you what is best for you. Can never understand why people would rather ask a question so important of strangers on an internet forum?
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

A doctor will only tell medical advice, the OP is asking for what people have found helps for things to try and ease it, not a cure!

    thanx khiller

it always helps to know what works for other people and my doctor always asks me what i want to use!!!!
looking for relief from itching as there is no cure and this isnt the place i would go for a cure!!
and as i havent had a flare up for 8 years there will be new treatments i dont know about and neither do the drs when i ask about them,,so other peoples veiws and experiences mean a lot to us sufferers, and every dr has different ideas to.
as prescriptions are expensive and money is tight i needed cheap ideas for things to try,
  • Ask the doctor for Xamilol gel. It is a new treatment but works really really well.

I have Psoriasis and I highly recommend zinc tablets. I know it sounds silly but taking them makes a huge difference and i have been using them for years.

I get this too and keep it at bay with changing shampoos often, as the conditions get 'used' to the treatment.

Nizoral is really good - from chemist, behind the counter, only use it once or twice a month
Tgel is good - but smelly!
Selsum is really good - from chemist, behind the counter, only use it once or twice a month

Head and Shoulders works for me on a daily basis

To help soothe a red, sore and inflammed scalp the only thing which works for me is Clynol Hair Tonic, get it from hairdressers.

I don't buy it from ^^^ but wanted to show you the tube. Just a little rubbed onto the inflamed areas works magic. Same stuff can be got from Schwarzkopf as I believe they are the same company.
