new power outlet idea,does this sound ok?

Nice one OP - did you consider running any other AV cables behind the TV? I did a similar job in the bedroom last year, but while the stud wall that the TV is on was opened up, took the opportunity to throw in scart/HDMI/VGA/phono connections, with the other ends all coming out of a faceplate with brushed grommet opening at low level in the corner, where a little shelf holds a dvd player etc. Works well.0

sounds like a good ideal mate,i am going to get another patress box and face plate tommorow for the coax lead,just to tidy it up a bit,then i will need to think of some kinda shelf or something to hold my sky plus box when i get around to fitting that,sat cable down from the loft to the inside of the wall as well0 -
