Orange sold on a debt that doesn't exist!!

Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone can advise me. Back in 2006 I owed £425 to Orange for a contract that was actually my ex husbands phone, unfortunately in my name. Long story short, debt was paid by solicitors as per a court order following the sale of the matrimonial home in October 2006. Ever since then I have been pursued by a number of debt collectors, legal firms etc for an unpaid sum of £425 that Orange have sold to Arrow Global ltd. I have provided proof in the form of copies of court order, completion statement and a letter from the firm of solicitors who acted for me at the time and who reassure me the cheque was sent to Orange and the cheque was reconciled through their company accounts.

Appeals to Orange have led me nowhere, because they don't have a record of me, after all they sold the debt on so apparently deleted all trace of me. No amount of proof I provide is resolving this matter and I don't know what to do anymore. I provide proof to whichever firm is chasing me, they accept it, apologise and then hey presto I have another firm chasing me for the same amount. I would welcome one of them taking me to court just to get a district judge accept the evidence that I can provide and bring the matter to a close once and for all!!

If anyone has any advice or experience of a similar nature then I would be very grateful to hear from you.
