Iphone 4 Availability

Hi All,

Like many people out there i am wanting an Iphone 4.

I thought i would start this thread for people to post any dates that they may of heard of that the phone will be available. i am desperate to get my hands on one. Apple website still says "about 3 weeks".

Anyone know of any tescos or carphone warehouse that has them in or any other provider?

I m in the same boat! Went to two Tescos today..Coventry (Ricoh arena) and New Oscott (Birmingham).
They both said they were having about two phones every few days or so and just to keep checking. The New Oscott one have a waiting list so I went on that albeit at number 92!!
I m leaving O2 as I dont think theyr'e competetive but if you look on their site you can put your area in a search and it will give you stock updates of only a few hours old.

Just checking London and it appears half have the 16gb and a handful have the 32 in stock

obviously if your waiting for tesco might be a little while longer than the big networks who have got pirority orders upto you though, prices vary very little its all about the length of contract

Three expect to start deliveries next week so it's safe to assume that there is a shipment due over this coming weekend from China for all networks / stockists. How many each provider receives and when is another matter.

i had an email from apple this morning that a 32GB iphone is waiting for me to collect from apple store today..i put my name on their priority list two weeks ago...the problem is iam not sure i want to collect it as i would rather wait until apple sorts out the reception issues

Carphone are really struggling I will be honest. Most of ours end up reserved for faulty exchanges.

I phoned 3 to upgrade last week, mine is being delivered next tuesday.

I'm waiting for Tesco too but it's a double whammy as I'm waiting for the white so god knows how long it'll be for that!!? I phoned the main Tesco near me in Chesterfield and he said they were expecting delivery soon but didn't say how many. He took my name and number for when they get white ones but I'm not holding my breath about being phoned back!
Don't think there's much doubt that Apple are drip feeding the Iphone 4 to keep up the hype, smart marketing I suppose but very annoying at the sametime!

Does it really matter what colour it is if you're going to have to put a bumper on it?
