What would you do?

Hi just wondering if anyone can help.
I sold a item last week and posted.Buyer is saying item not like listing.
The listing was very true to item so i know there no problem with item.I offered a full refund and cost of postage if she posted back.
Got a email today saying she cant be bothered with that she will take a half refund and keep item!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would rather have item back and use myself than let it go for that price is she trying it on ? what would you do?

    two options

    1. I would offer refund on return of goods
    2. Keep item no refund

    she could be trying it
  • I agree with the above...If you know the listing was correct I certainly wouldn't issue a part refund and pay pal don't issue part refunds either

She's after something for nothing. Just state again that you will give her a full refund on return.

If she does threaten you with bad feedback you will be able to get the FB removed. If she does leave a neg just respond in a calm way saying full refund was offered and customers wont get put off.

She is trying it on, stick to your guns, full refund on return of item, none if she keeps it

Remind her that she will need to post back with online tracking, & that recorded rarely tracks to delivery, to cover herself,. The cost may deter the chancing chav.

Just be aware that she could deliberately damage the item, then claim a SNAD

She would have to send the item back though, which is just what she wants to avoid. If she tries it she'll get a nasty surprise, but OP will either get item back or Paypal will close case in their favour.

OP offered her a refund on return and got nowhere.

You might not get one, a buyer needs to be careful about leaving negs as it warns other sellers that she is a problem. I have banned several buyers purely because I happened to notice they bought similar items to my business stock and always left poor feedback.
