I'm sure I've read that I have one of the Visa Debit but still Electron and it begins 4508.

So if you have a card that starts with anything else then it may work.. :)
No it's a visa debit that starts with 4508 still thats why i thought mr t wouldnt accept, last time I tried he never and that was just after the roll out of the 'new' cards.

It didn't work for me about a year ago, but I haven't tried since. I'm lucky enough to have a 'normal' account that wasn't closed down in the bankruptcy as it had 10p in there.. so I kinda use both accounts now, even though still no overdraft or anything..

How many Tesco's do you know that do not have ATMs nearby?

And you do not need an overdraft - you can (and should) craft your own buffer. You would think on this part of the board people might have learned from previous mistakes and would have started sensible practices. Apparently not.

What a judgemental cow. Seem to remember its not the first time shes come on the board sprouting such rubbish

Just to confirm what tigerfeet said - I have a co-op visa debit starting 4508 and previously Tesco's said no to my internet grocery shopping but for the last 3 weeks tesco's have happily been supplying my groceries again!

    Happy Days
