Help Anyone!!!
Where is the best place to buy wedding favors online??
Also, once your married who do you give flowers to?? Bridesmaid, mother of the bride etc...????
Another one at the top table who sits where??
Arghhh Im trying to arrange a wedding in four weeks, everything is going smoothly apart for the small things i thought would be ok.
We are going to go to the flower market 7 arrange our own, so thats ok.
But things like a photographer i never relised how much they wanted for photos.
Some people really know how to take advantage of others in a situ like this!
Cheers,
Frank

Can't you make your favours? Or is it too late? Try www.confetti.co.uk for some ideas? Bit pricey if there's no sale on though.
And most weddings I've been to, both Mothers received flowers.
No friends that can take photos? My daughter got a freelance, wasn't as classy as the professionals but she saved a lot. Some of the best photos were the ones that guests took. We bought the throw away cameras, they took the pictures, and we had them developed pretty cheaply. Max whats his name I think.
HTH and good luck

Yeah i was going to buy the pack of ten from hitched.co.uk and place the cameras round the tables at night time. And im hoping there is going to be that many digital cameras floating about that hopefully we will get a decent selection.!!
Yeah we were planning on making the favours but we wanted to steer away from the almonds thing, cause no one ever eats them. We wanted something like bubbles. Which we are getting , but also any ideas for others that maybe someone had seen or had at their wedding.:j0 -
Not sure if it helps but I'd put the throwaway cameras out during the day - they tend to get lost after people have had one or three

Plus there's the added advantage that you might get the thoughtful guest (as we did) who took their camera away after the afternoon meal, had it developed at Boots, and brought the photos back in an album as a present in the evening!
I'll try and think what other people did for their favours.0 -
Bubbles sounds good though. Imagine the bubble filled photographs you'd get

That would be an excellent idea think we will do that.
Hopefully someone will think of doing that for us.
As i said before anything is game for the favours. Any idea is gratefully appreciated.:j0 -
I went to a wedding where they had bought a box of small chocolate bars from the cash and carry. They then made their own wrappers to cover them, with their names, wedding date and themed logo they had used on the invites etc.
It's not that hard to do, if you are reasonable on a DTP package and have a decent printer. They call me Mr Pig!0 -
We did go to a wedding where they gave out small but decorative candles. And at least they were taken out of the handbags, unlike the almonds you mentioned

We had chocolates if I remember rightly, and miniatures for the men. The kids that were invited, (not many), received a chocolate type favour that Thorntons do. Tedy bears I think.0 -
I like that idea SammyPops. It's more personalised isn't it?
What about a place setting with the same sort of thing?0 -
Not sure how much you wanted to spend, but Debenhams are still selling their smaller photo albums at £3.60. The albums are quite pretty, and you could personalise the boxes they come in?
Might kill two birds with one stone there
. Some of them might take the hint - the women guests probably

I got married on a shoe string last year and got my favours, cameras, ballons, ribbons etc from ebay.
As it was a very informal do in the garden, the favours were a mix of choccies, bubbles and minitures all reasonably cheap from ebay0
