Hey there, I just wanted to say you're in the right place to get some help with your financial affairs. You should definitely contact CCCS again. They'll put you on the right path.

Have you discussed any of this with your psychologist? The reason I ask is because the stress of living with debt could be adding to your mental well-being right now. It might be an idea to go over it with them.

I agree with the previous poster that it is your creditors who should be worried, not you. You obviously want to deal with it in some way, else you wouldn't have found yourself on this lovely board. Keep posting and people will be along who can offer lots more advice for you.

    Hugs,

Normally I wouldn't recommend this straight away but given your mental stability (and I don't mean that in a nasty way) I think that the best thing for you might be to consider going bankrupt... this would wipe the slate clean for you and give yo a chance to concentrate on getting well again...

Yes it might limit your chances of a good mortgage but right now you need to prioritise your wellbeing.

    Hi First Class.

Someone else on another thread recommended Mind as an organisation that may be helpful to you - understanding the impact of your psychological state on your situation.

It sounds like you need some decent help to understand what is going on and how to deal with it. Have you told the people you are seeing for the psychological help, what is going on with this?

Mrs Tine's advice may be the right thing to do - get some help to talk through your situation. Good luck.

You said you got stuff and didn't open it, just put it in the spare room.

Do you still have any of it ? Could you maybe try selling on ebay ?

I know it will not solve the problem but might help with some spare cash and get you doing something active rather then sitting at home stewing ?
