My head is going to explode

Hi, I'm in a vast amount of debt beyond belief and all of my own doing, so I'm not expecting sympathy I just need some advice please.

I owe £45,000 on a house I just walked out of with just my clothes and a few personal possesions. (I could pay the mortgage and my bills) but for reasons I can't even understand myself, I stopped opening my bills, spent all of my savings on friends & family and trying to escape my racing mind.

I suffer from Depression (Having been hospitalised twice previously),
Bullemia, drinking until I blackout and most recently random sexual behaviour and gambling when all of the other mechanisams have failed.

I owe in the region of £65,000 and I'm still not opening any mail and living locked up and my rented house for fear of the bailiffs coming. I do work and amazingly manage to hold down a good job (I seem to become a different person at work and no-one is aware of my situation.

I have Physcological appointments each week and I still can't stop my mind from racing. I'm really at my lowest ebb and don't know what to do. I'm single with no dependants and feel so desperately lonley and most of all a failure.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

  • Thanks Wrinkles, I'm not getting any help, I did speak to the CCCS last year but never went any further than talking about things, I just shut myself off from it, bought lots of things and if they were for me i didn't ever open them I just put them all in the spare room and closed the door.

I'm also flitting out of here, away to bed but just wanted to say hi (and Bye!!), and don't worry about it all too much, you are in the right place for help if you truly are ready for it (I wasn't but am starting to finally get there methinks). Not too keen on your first name, so shall simply refer to you by your surname - FirstClass or 1sty for short. Take care 1sty, will check back tomorrow see how you are. night night
  • Sheba, Thank you.

I'm so pleased I've eventually plucked up the courage to come on here and am taking that first step as you've all been amazingly kind and welcoming.

I may actually get some sleep tonight as you three have renewed my faith in man kind.

    Night and God Bless. x
