read this on the web....."Unfortunately, some of the best sites are not free. That's to be expected, but don't run away from these websites too quickly. Most only charge a one-time administration fee. The prices can range anywhere from $20 to $50, but you get a library of downloads including free movies for your iPhone. These comprehensive websites offer multiple downloads for the iPhone not just movies. Besides free movies, you can find games, music or TV shows. The best thing about these sites is the quality of the movies. You're getting great movies for a low price."

To be honest anyone charging a "one time fee" not cost per movie purchase / viewing is probably a pirate site.
  • Films coming out to genuine sites are only the current ones that you can buy in DVD format from the shops anyway. Lots of films are now coming out in a multiformat, so you get the blueray, DVD and digital/iPod copy anyway.

iTunes is expensive for films and the like, but there are lots of converter programmes out there to change DVD formats into iPod/iPhone size & format. Have a look on places like Amazon in their software section; you'll find loads of different programmes starting from about £20 and reviews by people who've had hands on experience with them.

Sometimes you will need a programme called "DVD43" or Slysofts "Any DVD". These are designed to sit between the DVD tray and your PC. Essentially, they make your DVD tray into a "multiregion/copyfree" player.

Copying films to your iPod/iPhone is a technical breach of copyright, just like copying a CD to your iPod/iPhone is too. Provided you own the original disc, however, it is one of those laws that is overlooked.
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.

I was looking on ebay for a DVD copier and found one for a couple of quid called AoA. When it arrived it had other programmes on including a ripper that will convert DVD s to ipod format. I had previously bought a much more expensive one that was nt as good. i have the licence key if you want to ty it I think you can download a trial? PM me if you want (and if i can still find it!)
