This is interesting because I took out a loan with lloyds, my job went tits up, the debt went over to BLS but they added a hell of a lot of interest to the amount I owed. Now they wont answer letters because I'm questioning the CCA, interest etc etc!
Send them a CCA request you can find a template letter on this forum , if and when you get this post back here . If they dont have it ,they can not enforce this debt, If they have it post it up here after first blanking out your details.

OK, sent the CCA Request today, to HFO Services Ltd.

If I well understood, they have 14 days to reply, now, on their last letter they've sent me dated 15/07/10, they give me 7 days to contact them, on a phone number, to avoid, as they say, scalation on this matter. 7 days makes this Friday, sure they will get my CCA Request by tomorrow, or thursday the latest.

On this letter they sent me a copy of the land registry, about my house, and it shows of course the charge that Morgan Stanley credit card put on it on the 14.03.2007 so I guess they have done their homework. By the way, that Morgan Stanley debt, will do something about that one soon, because the agreement I signed for that credit card was on the 6th July 2001

Now, what if they decide, to ignore my letter, and start court proceedings?? What I'm supposed to do?

They come on these forums to learn a bit.
After the few clueless muppets ive had the displeasure of speaking to, I think you can safely say they weren't in possession of a law degree.

    Update 24/07/10

Posted the CCA Request on the 20/07/10, they received it on the 21/07/10 just after 09:00, did check the Royal Mail website, and I have proof of delivery, even the name of the person who signed for it.

Today Saturday the 24th, received a letter from them, dated on the 21/07/10, same person who sent me the previous 2 letters. The enveloppe date is the 23rd, they sent it 2nd class, poor sods, not even first class post.
Here you can see what they sent. I did edited and hide personal information for obvious reasons, and the right amount as well just in case they could find it that way, if they are looking, you never know

Anyway, the initial amount of the first letter is printed at the beginning of this thread.

The second letter received just 7 days after the first one, has the amount increased by £9.40, then the third letter just amnother 7 days later has an increase of 21.15 as you can see, different charges every timne.

Now if they have received my recorded delivery asking for the CCA Request, on the same morning, of the 3rd letter they sent, are they pretending that I didn't sent this request??

Please fell free to comment about this, and open to questions I'm, here sitting and waiting.

My take on it, based on the letter, is that they are open to a full and final settlement, but they are inflating the amoount alleged to be owed so that they look like they would accept 50% of the inflated amount while really recovering 75% of the true amount owed.
